In this article, we outline how to search and filter our bottles and closures so users can find exactly what they need to make important packaging decisions. There are several ways to view, search, and filter products on our website.
Use the Product Filter Option
We know it can be difficult to find the exact bottle and closure that’s right for your product. Sometimes, users only know the characteristics of a bottle or closure they are searching for, not necessarily the exact name of a product. Other times, they know some of the characteristics they want, but don’t know all of the particular options. We designed our Product Search Filter with these challenges in mind.
Different from a traditional product search that uses a product name, our filter functionality includes specific criteria categories, providing results that are more accurate and provide all the available options.
Step 1: Select the product type – Bottle or Closure.
Step 2: Select the filters – Application, Shape, Style, Capacity, or Material, among others. Select multiple filters and narrow the results even further.
For example, if you want a bottle to package a liquid product, use the Application filter. Then select the preferred Shape and/or Style.
Step 3: View the results – all of the results that meet the criteria will appear quickly in order by capacity. Specifications are shown for each product listed, including mold number, finish code, dimensions, and material options.
The Capacity filter now includes the option to enter a range for or use a sliding scale to find the exact bottle size, in metric or imperial measurements.
Search by Mold Number
Users can also search our product line using mold numbers, which contain four characters. Remember to add a zero to any three digit mold number.
All products that have the same mold number will be listed. There may be products that have the same mold number, but a different neck finish or weight; look for these differences in the specifications table for each product.
Browse Our Products
If you don’t have a specific bottle or closure in mind and want to view all of our products, use our Product Browse. In this section, users have the option to browse through the different bottle shapes and styles, as well as browse through our closures and fitments. Select the bottle shape you are interested in and you will see all of the products we offer, as well as their ideal uses.
Product Relationships
Now that you’ve found the right bottle, finding a closure that works with it is the next step in the process. That’s why we added bottle and closure relationships for all of our products.
For instance, when viewing our 120cc Artistic Series Wide-Mouth Round bottle, users will find all of the compatible closures that work with the bottle. It also applies to closures: we list the compatible bottles for our closures. Product relationships make it easy to select a complete packaging system for a product. It takes the guess work out of finding products that work together.
