Take Route 80 West towards Dover/Delaware Water Gap. Merge onto I-80 Express Ln. West. Take Route 28 South Exit 14, towards Hazen. Turn left onto Route 28 South to Route 422 West, ramp towards Butler/Pittsburgh. Stay straight onto Route 422 West to the West Hills Exit. Take Pennsylvania Turnpike West to Route 28 North, Route 28 North to Route 422 West, take the West Hills Exit.
From Erie, Buffalo:
Follow Route 79 South to Route 422 East. Continue on Route 422 East for approximately 35 miles to the West Hills Exit.
From West Virginia:
Follow Route 79 North to Route 422 East. Continue on Route 422 East for approximately 35 miles to the West Hills Exit.
From Columbus, Ohio:
Take I-70/US-40 Main Street, Exit 41-43A-B towards Columbus/Wheeling. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto I-70 East. Take the I-470 East, Exit 219, towards Bellaire/Washington PA. Merge onto I-470 East to I-70 East. Take the I-79 North exit towards Pittsburgh. Merge onto I-79 North. Take the I-279 North, Exit 14, towards Pittsburgh. Merge onto US 22 East. Stay straight onto I-279 North. Take the I-279 North exit on the left towards Ft. Duquesne Blvd/Convention Center Strip District. Keep left at the fork in the ramp. Take the PA-28 North, Exit 13, towards Chestnut St/East Ohio St/ETNA. Merge onto PA 28 North. Keep right at the fork to go on Allegheny Valley Expressway. Allegheny Valley Expressway becomes PA - 28 North. Take the US 422 West, Exit 19, on the left towards Butler. Merge onto US 422 West. Follow the West Hills Exit.
From Pittsburgh International Airport:
Exit Airport-Follow signs for Pittsburgh. (Route 60 South & I-79)
Continue on the Parkway (main road you are on) (now 22/30 East) stay in the left lane as you approach Pittsburgh and go through the Fort Pitt Tunnels - stay to your left and follow the signs for the North Shore (you´re going over the Fort Pitt Bridge first, then the Fort Duquesne Bridge). About half-way over the Fort Duquesne Bridge - on your right - you´ll see signs for 279 North. Follow this route - bearing to your right - very soon there is an exit for Route 28 North - exit 7C
Stay with 28 North all the way to Kittanning - Watch the road for the first 8-10 miles because the lanes for Route 28 shift.
Route 28 takes you to Route 422 - (Bear left as the road forks) - 422 West.
The Comfort Inn is the first "quick" exit - exit "A" - 268 North - take this to the second light - turn left onto Hilltop Plaza. Phone 724.543.5200
DPG Plant is 2nd Quick Exit on right (West Hills Industrial Park/Hospital signs).
Total trip is 60-75 minutes depending on traffic.
Returning to the Airport
Route 28 South
Follow signs for 279 South Carnegie / Airport
You will go back through the tunnel and stay with the Parkway 22/30
West - to 60 North. You will see signs for the Airport continuously.
